What is Content Management?
A centralised collection (or library) of all your text and media (pictures, video, documents) for publication, usually kept in a single Content Management System (CMS) or Database Application.
Why do I need a Content Management System?
Keeping all your information and media assets in a centralised library presents you with the opportunity to
- standardise your material across the organisation and the way it is presented
- provide access to content across the organisation (even remotely via the web)
- use the same content for many purposes - eg. Print and Web
- cut down on 'proofing' and correction stages
- distribute the information in standardised formats to third parties
Why is Travelmedia Content Manager different?
Most Content Management Systems are very expensive and complex. They have been designed as generic tools by software development companies for use in large corporations who employ qualified IT staff. They are not pre-configured for any particular use and can take weeks to implement. Travelmedia Capture has been built specifically for the Travel industry during the last 3 years and comes pre-configured for your use. We have also made sure that it is affordable even for the smaller Tour Operator (see below)
